Forecast Hotspots turns your own incident history into a ranked, map-native risk model. Every zone, room, rack row, and pick slot gets a 0–100 risk score, a probability, a confidence level, and an expected time window — so inspections, treatments, and deep cleans land where and when they matter.
Open a facility under Mapping, then click Forecast in the map toolbar. PestMetry pulls up to 180 days of incident history for that facility and scores every mapped zone, room, rack row, and pick slot.
Use the horizon control to look 7 to 60 days ahead. Short horizons sharpen this week's routing decisions; longer horizons are better for planning treatments, deep cleans, and audit prep.
The score is a recency-weighted ranking of pressure in that area — recent incidents count far more than old ones. Treat 70+ as act now, 40–69 as watch and verify, and under 40 as monitor on your normal cadence.
Probability is the modeled chance of at least one new incident in the area within your horizon. Confidence describes how much history supports it: High means many well-spaced incidents, Medium means a usable but thinner record, Low means the area has too few data points to trust yet — verify in the field before reallocating resources.
The window (for example "Expected Aug 18 – Aug 25") comes from the average interval between past incidents in that area plus its variability. A tight window means a steady, predictable recurrence pattern; a wide window means irregular history — schedule the inspection near the start of the window either way.
Click any ranked area to focus it on the blueprint and review the incidents driving the score, then raise a work order, add a cleaning task, or schedule an inspection inside the window. Re-check the forecast after the corrective action to confirm the score drops.
Forecasts are decision support, not a guarantee. They describe how likely activity is to recur based on your own recorded history — always confirm with a physical inspection before closing or reprioritizing work.
